B.S. in Psychology from Fairmont State University
M.A. in Counseling from West Virginia University

Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 15 years of experience. She has a background in Structural Family Systems therapy, which focuses specifically on attachments—past, present, and future. She uses a holistic approach with the aim of helping individuals, couples, and families heal in such a way that it promotes generational healing and growth.

What I Do at Resolutions

I work with clients, whether individuals, couples, or families, to help them navigate the most challenging areas of their lives. My approach is rooted in evidence-based mental health treatments, while still heavily emphasizing the spiritual aspects of mental health. I believe counselors are merely tools in the hands of the ultimate Healer, and as such I remain fully submitted to the laws God created that govern us, our mental and emotional health, and our families.

Working With Me

I pray that my clients encounter Christ through me and the atmosphere that I attempt to create in the counseling room. I tend to be energetic and straightforward while remaining approachable, and I enjoy empowering my clients within the most challenging areas of their lives. I was trained in Structural Family Systems therapy throughout my supervision and early years of practice, and that theoretical orientation strongly influences my approach to treatment. SFS therapy is rooted in the belief that an individual can only be as healthy as his/her attachments (past, present, and future), and I believe this reflects God’s design for individuals and families.

Outside of Resolutions

Outside of the office, I am a passionately devoted wife, mother, and homeschooler who enjoys God’s creation through hiking, mountain biking, and any other outdoor activities that interest my family at the time. I enjoy cooking, baking, and homemaking, and I consider it a blessing to serve at a private practice that supports my primary mission at home.
