Who We Are
Resolutions Counseling, Inc. is a Christian-owned counseling practice headquartered in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Our mission is to provide Christ-centered, licensed psychotherapy to individuals, families, students, and underserved communities throughout Appalachia and beyond.
We believe emotional, relational, psychological, and spiritual health matter because people matter.
What Makes Resolutions Different
Our care is uniquely psychological, theological, and spiritual. We integrate evidence-informed counseling methods, orthodox Christian conviction, and clinically appropriate spiritual support while honoring licensure standards, ethical guidelines, and client confidentiality.
Resolutions is more than a traditional counseling office. We provide professional counseling in our Bridgeport office and through telehealth, while also expanding access to care through trusted community partnerships.
Collaborative Care
Effective care often involves collaboration. Licensed counselors address mental health concerns, trauma, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, relational distress, and complex family systems. Primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and specialized case workers provide essential medical, diagnostic, medication, and practical support services.
In the same way, Resolutions Counseling is a positive supplement to the local church, pastoral care, discipleship, and Christian community.
Our goal is collaborative care—serving clients with clear boundaries and professional responsibility while fostering collaborative help.
What We Do
We provide professional counseling for diagnosable mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, phobias, addiction recovery, relationship and family struggles, parenting education, foster and adoption issues, college and young-adult challenges, and faith-related questions.
